Real World Radio shares a photo gallery of the different moments of the week of mobilization that took place in Geneva in parallel to the first session of the UN Intergovernmental Working Group on human rights and transnational corporations.

Several social movements and organizations gathered in the Global Campaign to dismantle corporate power and the Treaty Alliance have been carrying out parallel activities, protests, actions and marches demanding a binding treaty that forces transnational corporations to respect human rights.

Yesterday, the activists participated in a march from the United Nations Square, in front of the Palais des Nations, where the official negotiations are taking place. The demonstrators stopped outside the headquarters of the World Trade Organization (WTO) and then kept walking and expressing their demands until arriving to the “Bains des Pâquis”.
