Biodiversity for agroecological conversion NOW!
The 7th edition of the Native Seed and Family Farming Festival of Uruguay will take place on April 21-23 in La Paloma, Rocha with a strong emphasis on the protection of biodiversity in order to favor the agroecological production of food and the sustainable management of territories and water basins.
Organized by the Native Seeds Network, the Agronomy School of the University of the Republic and REDES – Friends of the Earth Uruguay, the Festival will include thematic tables about the impacts of the extractive-mining-forestry model, the role of young people in agroecological experiences and the technical/political strengthening of the network itself.
