2013 Special Broadcasts / 6th International Conference of La Via Campesina

The 6th International Conference of La Via Campesina will take place from June 6-13, in Jakarta, capital of Indonesia, under the slogans “For the land and sovereignty of the people” and “Solidarity and struggle”. The organizers expect over 100 peasants from all continents to participate.
La Via Campesina reclaims the importance of the struggle for land and the sovereignty of the peoples, while solidarity and mobilization are highlighted as actions to achieve these goals. Real World Radio will be covering the 6th International Conference of La Via Campesina, and will join La Via Campesina’s communication team for joint work.
