There is no sign of significant action from developed countries towards a commitment to reducing their greenhouse gas emissions or providing climate finance for the communities already suffering from the impacts of climate change, says environmental activist and Friends of the Earth International’s spokesperson, Asad Rehman, at the United Nations Climate Conference that is taking place in Doha, Qatar.
Rehman is a member of Friends of the Earth England, Wales and Northern Ireland and has been appointed as FoEI’s spokesperson at the COP. In Doha, he is exposing that the texts on the negotiating table have no significant content and he also speaks about the role of Friends of the Earth at the negotiations.
