    There’s no place for protests in Colombia, ESMAD officers attacked a demonstration in Huila

    On Monday, the Anti-Riot Police Force (ESMAD) of Colombia repressed a peaceful demonstration carried out by over 2000 fishermen, peasants and indigenous people near Hobo municipality, Huila department, against mining-energy megaprojects and in favor of a solution to the national armed conflict. Around 50 demonstrators and several police officers were injured. Read more
