Friends of the Earth International, together with other organizations and networks in defense of Food Sovereignty are working and mobilizing in Rome in parallel to a new round of sessions of the Committee on World Food Security, demanding the recognition of the essential role of forests in the building of this political and territorial principle, and also for the people and communities inhabiting and protecting them. Real World Radio will be present in Rome to reflect on the advances of the negotiations and the actions of social movements and governments represented at the CFS.
