“Act for Human Rights”
New round of negotiations towards binding treaty on transnational corporations and human rights violations
Less than two weeks before the beginning in Geneva, Switzerland of the second session of the Intergovernmental Working Group of the UN Human Rights Council mandated to establish a binding treaty on transnational corporations and human rights, the Global Campaign to Dismantle Corporate Power and End Impunity is launching on Tuesday a call for action.
The tens of social movements and organizations member of the Campaign launched today a special video produced by Victor Barro, of Friends of the Earth Spain, where they call to push for the binding treaty on October 24-29 in Geneva and different parts of the world as part of the Week of Mobilization to take place in parallel to the UN negotiations.
