Action by La Via Campesina in Paris, in the framework of the COP 21
La Via Campesina held on Wednesday in Paris, France, an action outside the headquarters of corporation Danone to denounce the actions by the company against peasant agriculture in several parts of the world and illustrate the damage caused by agribusiness and industrial agriculture on the planet.
The action was also carried out on the “Peasant Agriculture and Food Sovereignty Day” that La Via Campesina is celebrating today in Paris in parallel to the UN negotiations on climate change. The network of peasant organizations present in the five continents has been carrying out actions all day.
