EU trade commissioner Cecilia Malmström won the Swedish Greenwash Award 2015 for communicating that the Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership (TTIP) will not affect, or even be good for, the environment. Malmström did not show up at the prize ceremony. But since she was in place at the political fair Almedalen Week in Sweden, Friends of the Earth Sweden looked her up and delivered the prize to her anyway.
